Book in now for this awesome 3-Day Holiday Workshop focusing on singing, song writing, performing and recording.
The workshop will be held at the Nelson Centre of Musical Arts with specialised guidance from tutor, Dayna Sanerivi.
It’s a programme developed, just for girls aged 8-14 years.
A strictly limited number of participants will be able to sign up.
*Some basic music/singing experience is required. 6 participants required for the Workshop to go ahead.
There'll be lots of fun and creative activities designed to help everyone stretch their imaginations and gain confidence.
We’ll be working on projects both individually and in groups with a strong focus on sharing and collaboration.
This is a unique opportunity for a small group of young female musicians to join forces, learn new skills, and make music together.
When: April Workshops 2020 Cancelled
Classes will run from 10am to 2.30pm including a half hour lunch break at 12pm.
The girls are welcome to stay on for an extra 30 minutes at the end of the day to have a cup of tea, listen to music and socialise with each other.
Everyone will need to be collected by 3pm when I will lock up and leave the building.
All participants are required to stay on site at the NCMA for the full duration of the workshops, including the lunch breaks.
How much: $210 per person. Instruments, music gear and light refreshments will be provided.

This is Mia Coldicott, one of my Girl Rockers.
Mia and I have been working together on her song writing and performance skills for a couple of years now and her progress has been a pleasure to observe. Here's a song she wrote in one afternoon at our Girl Rockers Holiday Workshop in January.
The other girls helped with the technical aspects of videoing and audio engineering, and we created this together.
She's been busy creating a few new original tunes in Lockdown. I wonder which one she'll enter in the Rock Quest this year?

Here's our youngest Girl Rockers. They had a blast creating this song.
We had a lot of laughs, and the older girls were supportive and encouraging, helping not only with the song writing and choreography for the video, but also the hair styles. Go Maz and Harriette!!!
