Welcome to Singing Lessons with me - Dayna Sanerivi.
To get the most out of your lesson time, please consider in advance setting some goals that you would like to achieve each term.
It can be as simple as wanting to memorise one song to sing confidently from start to finish. Maybe you want to set a goal of writing three new songs and to create a demo recording of one of them on Logic Pro X. Or maybe you have a performance coming up and you want to get ready for the stage and work on mic technique.
Sometimes students sign up just because they enjoy singing and want to explore their voice. That's all good!
I work with each individual student at their own level and focus on what interests them the most, while encouraging and guiding them to try things they might not have thought they could do.
If you are signing up your child to work with me it would be helpful if you could talk with them about what they want to achieve.
It's also ok if they just love to sing and don't have a specific goal in mind yet. I can assess and create goals with them in our sessions.
A book dedicated to singing is a useful thing to bring along each week to take notes and keep track of songs we're working on and where we are with our goals, and some work to do at home. Practicing at home between lessons will help you get more out of your time with me.
Your Singing Lessons can include :
-Vocal techniques and training
-Exploring your vocal abilities and edges
-Workshopping your song ideas - rework covers to suit your style
-Mentoring and competition preparation
-Goal setting and project planning
-Confidence building for singing on stage and in the studio
-Practical preparation for live performances
-Song writing - even if you've never done it before!
-Demo recordings of your ideas in my home studio set up
-Basic music theory
-Production on Logic Pro X Software
-Creation of video recordings with high quality audio
-Accompaniment instrumental tuition on piano, drums and guitar
-Creation of backing tracks and guide vocals for practice
-If you have your own request not listed above I'm happy to discuss
